Verdure Aux Oiseaux II is a fine art French impressionist tapestry that features exotic birds amid a marvelous green landscape, and is surrounded by an arabesque border.
The tapestry's original design was woven in Oudenaarde at the beginning of the 18th century and is now at the Royal Museum in Brussels. Oudenaarde tapestries were very popular in France and some of its best craftsmen moved over to escape its hindering import duties.
